Meet our Preacher, Rev. James D. Messer Jr.
Serving Pilgrim Freewill Baptist Church has and continues to be one of the most joyful experiences of my christian life. Pilgrim Freewill Baptist Church is a wonderful congregation that seeks opportunities to come together often. The call to follow Jesus Christ is the call to come together in a community of faith. Our community of faith comes together in both in times of joy and in times of sorrow. We lift each other with our presence and we celebrate what God is doing in our lives. We love and thank you all.
In November 2000, Rev. Messer and wife Juanita were called to pastor Pilgrim Freewill Baptist Church. They relocated from Gastonia to Lexington and hopes to be here until Jesus comes back to take us home.
